Bottle shared at Nathaniel Square Corner Store.
Pours a hazy orange, with a fizzy half inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells fairly strong and fresh, smells earthy, herbal, and piney, with a bit of grapefruit citrusy goodness.
The taste is similar. West-coast style at heart, very little malt backbone. Grapefruit and lemon up front, then some bracing pine bitterness that stops short of being too much. Very fresh, juicy, and bitter, the way I like my IPAs.
Medium bodied, crisp smooth mouthfeel. Very, very drinkable. Medium carbonation.
I've wanted to try this one for a while now, I'm glad I got a chance to today.
