Grabbed a bomber at a QFC.. no freshness date.. although it's a spring release...
- Hardly and head as poured at an angle into a tumbler glass... mild lacing.. slightly cloudy, and a nice light copper color.
- Citrus hop aroma and mild caramel malt.. pretty floral as well. Thats about it!
- Ahhh refreshing... great citrus flavor and hop profile... smooth rich malt but balanced and not too sweet. Nice lemon zest/ bitter finish.... A true Oregon Spring ale.
- Bitter and not so chewy mouthfeel.. a bit biscuit-like.. a little dry..
- Quit drinkable.. perfect carbonation... and smooth with no alcohol burn whatsoever.
Recommend a try at least.. but not a top pick.. especially from this brewer.. and I am shooting myself for missing an Oaked Cask of Tricerahops last night...

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a semi-dark orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Sly trickling messy lace.
The aroma had some citrusy hops, light honey, dried floral hop character, super light piney-ness, and a sturdy clean malt backbone.
The flavor was mostly sweet, but clean and mobile from the hops to the malts adding some sweet cracker/biscuit to the mix. Aftertaste of floral to citrusy and somewhat clean cracker-like qualities flow evenly.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt as projected as well.
Overall, pretty nice seasonal APA well worthy of coming back to.

Dark yellow in color, hints of light orange. big 1" head, lasts forever, so much retention. Floral hop presence (and floral 'floral' presence too). Even the sweetness seems to be yeast derived and floral as well. Spring indeed.
Taste keeps kicking down the floral notes, honeysuckle, apples, pear. Ninkasi does a great job making bombers affordable as any. I liked it, very flavorful blonde ale.

A: Golden amber, hazy with a few chunks of floaties, and a white head.
S: Lightly hoppy with pine and citrus as well as a biscuit like bread note.
T: Citrus peel, and some floral notes give way to some earthy grapefruit. The bitterness is pretty aggressive for an APA.
M: Medium body with moderate carbonation.
O: Good but fairly aggressive bitterness for an APA.
