Poured into a large snifter-style glass.

Pumpkin-orange, hazed with tiny, visible particles. A hard pour delivers a dense, creamy head of off-white that sticks around for a long time and grips the glass in large-bubbled trails.

Smells like spring. Grass, floral notes, lots of honey and a touch of citrus. Good, bright balance of sweet malt and hops.

Subtle toasty malt quickly becomes sweeter and honeyed. Caramel and toasted biscuits emerge more as the brew warms. Grass, citrus pith and floral hops blend with orange before a crisp finish.

Fairly big body — about medium before some silky fizz lightens things up. Carbonation is mild and pinching. Finishes squeaky-clean.

A bright, well-balanced ale; tasty and nicely hopped for a blonde. Probably best in spring, but also thoroughly enjoyable in the summer, when I had it.

I found a date on it and I'm assuming its born on: "Feb 10, 2014."

Into a pint glass.

A: semi-clear golden amber colored body with a one fingered white foamy head that dies within about a minute, light lacing graces the sides of the glass, light carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace

S: light spicy notes linger through a malty base

T: kinda bland through the previous smells; slight spicy aftertaste, dry watery finish

M: light to medium body, carbonation hits like a normal Blonde Ale - not too hard and not too soft just adequate, it kinda feels slick on the mouth and tongue

O: normal Blonde ale, it hits the style so its good for the most part, except for me, I'm not that thrilled with the taste, as it comes across somewhat bland. It might be better with food.

I agree with BierJager89 But, I like it because it is a Spring Brew, it should be lighter. Great for a Seattle Spring day. this would be good for any social gathering celebrating the PNW spring and a great time to see how friends like it! It really helps to try this one on a Real Spring Day, especially after drinking all those fine winter ales!

A: Opaque golden copper color with a creamy tan head.

S: A little malt and some peach, orange and citrus peel in the nose.

T: Interesting. Starts out malty, followed by dull fruits, then citrus, which crescendos and becomes a bit tart and lemony in the finish.

M: Light bodied and smoothish, crisp and refreshing.

O: It was a bit light for my taste, and the taste was not what I was hoping for and a bit disappointing after the nose. Still worth a try.
