Look: Medium orange in color and nearly clear with a sudsy white head that briefly holds before settling to a lid and leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Navel orange, Cara cara orange, pink grapefruit, raspberries, pine sap, light peach, kumquats, fir needles, some kiwi, honeydew melon, and sweet bready malt
Taste: Conifer and pithy citrus come on strong as a tandem to open it up and quickly develop depth as light berry notes trickle in behind. Melon, peach, and kiwi flex their wings in the middle once the conifer/citrus subsides, only to return for the close, along with a hefty bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and plenty of dryness on the finish
Overall: This is some awesome stuff. Easily one of my favorite brews from these folks and glad they continue to make and package it as their summer seasonal as it’s a tasty and well-made WCIPA. A great blend of citrus/conifer along with nice berry, melon, and kiwi come together nicely and in classic Ninkasi fashion, packs a good bite and is considerably dry on the finish – which I dig. A classic and still a winner. In case you’ve somehow not tried this yet, please do and thank me later

Picked up a sixer of these on my way home from work. Very refreshing after a long day. Don’t know if the name has anything to do with the Skynyrd song, but it gets bonus points from me anyways.
Best point of this beer is the mouthfeel and the aftertaste. It really sticks with you and the flavor develops over time. Good beer for sipping on.
Not many negatives to point out, except that it’s maybe a bit too normal. Kind of tastes like every other PNW IPA I’ve tried, but in a good way. I’ve been enjoying Ninkasi brews lately. Would buy this one again.

Picked up a sixer for the Modest Mouse concert with my brother last week. Not sure what makes it a "Summer IPA" but it does provide the more traditional dry, piney, citrus led hop blast that we have grown used to over the years. It looks and smells the part, and has a thick, oily mouthfeel that allows for a long aftertaste. Solid effort.

Better than many of the other offerings from this brewery but still has that harsh bitterness they are known for.

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), piney. The taste is nice, hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), piney. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a nice little brew.

Pours hazy out of the bottle uniform and without particulate. Head is kind of there and whisks up the side of the glass. Exactly what the packaging suggests: Bold but not overwhelming. Exactly what I expect and want from a Summer IPA. A tad flowery without being obnoxious.
