Wide selection on tap; even more bottles to choose from. Outstanding.

This French-style cafe in the artsy Riverside section of Jacksonville seemed to be very much like a few places I had visited in Lyon, France a few years ago. Comfortable and casual, I felt welcome there as I noted it had both a bar and a store inside.
As the place had been suggested to me as good beer venue, I could see the tap handles on various stations and guessed it might have had 20-25 taps of mixed import and American craft selections.
I recognized the regional beers, such as Sweetwater, and the locals of Bold City and Intuition, which were literally brewed a few blocks away from this location.
When I got down to business with the girls at my table, the beer list was impressive in its bottle line up with many beers I like, such as Chimay, Leffe, Lindeman's, and others. They let me choose what I liked and I went right for the newer ones I had not tried yet. Alas, they were out of Swamphead and a few others, so I asked our attentive waiter what was special or new. His reply was the Sixpoint Resin. Since I had worked in the beer business in NY, I knew of Sixpoint's creations by heart and decided to pass in favor of the stellar Sweetwater 420 IPA.
Looking back on the beer menu, I think there were a couple of "the usual suspects" (Michelob, etc.), but I didn't think too much about it as I think good beer places like to educate or inform new customers of newer tastes, so they reach out to serve all tastes in the process.
One of the odd things was that the bar was not serving pints from the tap: 10 or 20 oz glasses were their tap vessels. Naturally, I went larger as the 420 IPA was a good compliment to the triple-decker sandwich I had.
Thinking of food, my table decided to share its plates, so we all had a taste of each other's plates.
I would suggest the all encompassing sandwich capacity of the menu was good in flavor, though lighter on the content than I might have expected.
As we moved on after round two, I went into the little shop beyond the bar and found a good selection of imported beers, cheeses, and cookies to take home with me.
In review, I would like to return to this venue and try more of the local beers with the menu.

I went there weeks ago and forgot to review. Atomphere. This is the best one of the bunch. I went there to sample a bold city white beer they had for a sample.
Quality: The food is great. mostly sandwiches and lunch type place. But they do what they do VERY well.
Service: solid, everyone is helpful and good hospitality.
Selection: About 20 on tap, 60-80 bottles from around the world, and a very solid beer store.
Food: great selection of sandwiches and apps.
I highly recommend this place for all vistors. It's a great place for lunch and a good place to hang out and try a great selection of beer.

Of all of the European Street Cafes in Jacksonville, this is the one that I go to most often. They have a fair selection of draft beers-Bass, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Warsteiner, etc. Unfortunately, in the year and a half that I've been going there, they have never brought had anything new on tap. They have a good selection of bottled beer, almost all of which is the same price. So you can get a Samuel Smith for the same price as a Bud. The food is pretty good-mostly sandwiches. The service is very inconsistent. You get a good server one day and a terrible one the next. All of their bottled beer is available for take out, mostly at a reasonable price, although there are some exceptions. $17 for a 4 pack of Delerium Nocturnum is robbery.
