A clouded amber/orange brew with a white head having good lacing and curtains.
Smelling fruity and spicy, bananas, "fruit soup", coriander.
Sweet brown bread, almond biscuits, tutti frutti, clove, cardamom and bark.
Little carbonation, foamy, sticky with a big body, slightly dry.
A heavy, borderline too heavy, robust weizenbock. A complete meal.

Brewed for Beer Day 2012.
The liquid is opaque, the colour amber-orange (20 EBC). The finger thick head is yellowish. Good head retention. Some fine lacing.
The smell is strong. Wheat tartness and a grand sweetness. Soap/dried fruits. Washing powder and lots of cloves. Hints of alcohol and meats. It is quite dense, which is a good thing here.
Sweetness dominates the taste. Cloves and other exotic spices. Allspice. Meats. Some hops and a delicate bitterness. Flowers. Banana peels. Banana candy. Full body. Fresh hops in the aftertaste. Spices. The body becomes a bit thinner after some time. Wheat sourness and quite a lot of wheat dough. Some band-aids and hints of smoke in the finish, as well as some fresh vegetables and fruit candy in the finish.
Soft carbonation, small bubbles. The liquid is very smooth and a bit sticky.
A very German beer. Nice and balanced with well hidden alcohol.
