Poured from a 330ml bottle. 6.4abv on this bottle.
A nice West Coast Style IPA in my opinion. A nice hop finish to it.

Dark amber in color and with a nice persistent head. It's super complex, with the hops providing a bitter bite, but also some fruity notes, and a late retronasal attack by the pink pepper.

A-Orange amber ale with the pillowy white head
S-more malt forward that hop aromatically
M-Mouthfeel is medium with carbonation also higher than desirable for this style
T-Bitter up front with an assertive tang and yeast derived subtle sweetness.
O-Decent delivery but not as well crafted as I would have liked

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, red apple, apricot, mango, melon, passion fruit, white grape, citrus peel/zest, peppercorns, light pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light nutty/caramel, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops, peppercorns, bready malt, and light-moderate fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, red apple, apricot, mango, melon, passion fruit, white grape, citrus peel/zest, peppercorns, light pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light nutty/caramel, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy bitterness; and peppercorn spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, red apple, apricot, mango, melon, passion fruit, white grape, citrus peel/zest, peppercorns, light pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light nutty/caramel, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, peppercorns, bready malt, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is a very good English IPA style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, peppercorns, bready malt, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Nothing too out of the ordinary with the peppercorn additions. Nelson, Simcoe, and Saphir hops. Nicely juicy citrus and earthy hop complexity; sizable bready malt backbone, but not overly sweet. Not overdone on peppercorn spice flavors. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example.

This drinks fantastically, such a solid brew lurks inside this cool bottle. The peppercorns give a nice spice to this bitter beauty

IMO, this has a character closer to a Brown Ale than an IPA (the fact that the label says "IPA" but then transcribes it as "Italian Pale Ale" left me a bit unsure what to expect). As an India Pale Ale it is unusual; it is a fairly dark, caramely malt and hop aromas are pretty muted. It does have a fairly clean and slightly bitter finish. Hops are closer to the character of an English IPA than an American one.

Kind of a different bottle shape, looks like normal ipa, don't know what the pink name is all about. Aroma was underwhelming, ipa should = hops. Almonds? Can't tell.
Taste seems just as much like a lighter alt as it does an ipa. Too expensive for getting a plain ride of toffee, caramel and minimal hops and almonds.
