I went their last night with my wife for dinner. I had a brie and roast beef sandwish and she had a muffeleta.

Quality: The food is great. mostly sandwiches and lunch type place. But they do what they do VERY well.

Service: solid, everyone is helpful and good hospitality.

Selection: About 20 on tap, 60-80 bottles from around the world, and a very solid beer store.

Food: great selection of sandwiches and apps.

I highly recommend this place for all vistors. It's a great place for lunch and a good place to hang out and try a great selection of beer.

Without a doubt this is my favorite place to drink beer.

Atmosphere: It is more a café' than a bar - While it is very clean it also gets crowded quick - I prefer the bar to a table but here there is no leg room at the bar & the stools are poor

Quality: Very good overall although I did get an out of date bottled beer ONCE, that is the only thing keeping them from a higher grade

Service: Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, albeit a bit slow at times. They did serve me an out of date beer ONCE. (Man I like to hold a grudge!)

Selection: Other than the warehouse liquor store in town, you are hard pressed to find a better selection.

Food: Never had a bad meal - never went home raving about what I ate - They keep it simple and it's enjoyable

Price: Beer prices are fine especially during happy hour, food prices not so much.

Went here on a Saturday night around 9PM. It's much like the Riverside store in its decor & layout - euro-market style, small bar, retail area, dessert cases, and then seating area for those eating in.

The first thing to notice when you sit at the bar here is the tap list - for sure. I didn't count, but I'd say there was 15-20 taps. But they were ALL good selections. It's not like going to a place with 60 taps in which 45 of them are terrible! They had 3 selections from Cigar City (good to see them supporting the Florida brews), Lagunitas Pale, St. Bernardus ABT 12, A Belgian Lambic, Hacker Pils and Wheat and others that I really didn't pay attention to much. Their bottle list is extensive and pricing seemed fair on those as well. The draft that I had all seemed fresh with no off flavors from dirty lines/etc. The bar was very clean, neat, and organized - everything was spotless. You got a sense that the place was cared for and run by people who cared about these aspects of the biz.

The bartender was a fellow named Andy - who was very friendly and chatted with us about homebrewing, their beers on tap, other bars in town - just regular stuff. He certainly knew his beer and could hold up a good convo about it. More often than not a bar with good beer will be clouded by a bartender with no/little knowledge on beer - this was NOT the case here. Props to Andy.

We didn't eat there, but have at the Riverside store, and I assume it's the same menu, which was mostly deli/sandwich sort of fare.

PRO's: Very Clean, Good Beer Selection, Fair Pricing, Friendly/Efficient/KNOWLEDGEABLE staff, Beer to go (Bottles), Great atmosphere

CON's: Small bar in size, So I'm sure it could be difficult to sit at the bar when it's busy, Limited "number" of taps (although the limited selection was excellent, I wouldn't fault them on this), Only open till 10PM at this location.

It's a Clean, Organized, Friendly place to drink beer/grab some food. I recommend trying it out for sure.

I went to the beach yesterday to drink early and nothing good was open at the beach so I went back and found this place. Wow is all I can say.
Its my new favorite place. Now the taps are limited but they have a GREAT selection. The bottles list is great. Food was good.Beer was better. And its no smoking, well you have to run the outside patio area, but after that its smoke free. Bar is small but its a food place mainly. Great Manager is all I can say. A MUST visit for any BA. It is near the beach, well its about a mile from the beach, which means no tourist, so thats a another plus. Most folks were friendly. Bar stools hurt my ass though. I think they had 2 tv, but I was drinking so, I could have been seeing Double.

This is my favorite of the local ESC locations. I had St Bernardus Abt 12 on tap really nice to see that. WE also had 3 Trappist Rochefort in a vertical tasting 6, 8, 10 No where else in town can you ever get these. Goes to show you what a Great manager they have.

The menu is the same at all locations. This store and its bar are the best, heck I go so far as to say its the best beer bar in TOWN, beer wise. Now the bar seats sucks and the bar is small, and its only got 2 small tv's, but its a restaurant first.

First rate place in my book, and they don't rip you off for bottles prices, sure there are a tad more than TW prices, but heck TW still cannot get Rochefort. I still pissed off at the Brick store in Big A on their rip off bottle prices.

I had many of beers on tap @ European Street in Jax Beach , FL. Roger the bar Mgr always has great knowledge to share, chat and recommend (thanks Rog!). Check out the bar if you have a chance, great craft beer draft selection, good food, and knowledgeable staff! Also a great 2-4-1 on all drafts from 4pm-7pm, what a steal!

The bar could be bigger but it adds to the character of the place. It can get crowded at the bar and seats and space are limited. You can always grab a table inside in the dining area or outside if the bar it tapped out. They also have a great selection of bottled beers to buy and take with. Check them out, a beer advocate must see in JB, FL!!!

"E Street" is one of the best comprehensive beer selections in Jax Beach - take it from a local ;-)!

I liked this place so much I had lunch here 3 days in a row (unfortunately they were alcohol free). They an awesome selection of deli style offerings, brats, house creations, and usually offer 3 different soups.

I did spy their bottle selection which consisted of Dogfish, Orange Blossum, Rogue, Sam Adams, Sea Dog, Shipyard, Sierra Nevada, a bunch more domestic micros and beer from a total of 30 or so countries.

I do have to give this place a very strong reco for lunch. The menu is huge and you'll probably have a tough time deciding what to order, but you'll end up with a very good meal.
