This brew was served from the tap at Sherwood Brewing Company in Shelby Township, Michigan. It arrived in a generic pint glass, glowing a pale straw coloring. It sported a half finger tall head of cream colored bubbles, showing nice retention, and little spots of lacing as it went. A chill haze was noted, but no sediment was appreciated. Carbonation appeared to be light. The aroma gave thick pine sap, Styrofoam plastics, pale malts, grapefruity hops, white grape sugars, ginger, herbal dill freshness, and light garlic essence. Our first impression was that the flavoring showed nice and bitter hoppiness, with spicy herbals on the back, making for an interesting and pleasant drinking brew. As we sipped, the taste opened with piney and herbal hops, bittered citric rind, grapefruit flesh, lemon juice, tangerine tartness, marijuana herbals, oregano and thyme, mango fruitiness, and boozy hotness. The middle came with more of that herbal freshness, dill, soured lemon rind, pale and wheaty malts, and soured pseudo-woodiness. The ending wash came with lemon juice bitters, warm butters, brown malts, sugary apple sweetness, walnut, pale and cereal grain, and thick piney hops. The aftertaste breathed of bitter herbals, general greenness, sweaty saltiness, pale and wheaty malts, white flour, floral grassiness, nectarine pulp, hollow booziness, oily potatoes, vanilla cake sugars, and pine cone earthiness. The body was medium, and the carbonation was medium to high. Each sip gave nice slurp, smack, cream, and froth. The mouth was left somewhat coated, followed quickly by a drying, resiny finish of chalky dryness and satiation. The abv was appropriate, and the beer drank easily.
Overall, what we enjoyed most about this beverage was its flavoring. Here we truly experienced a burst of taste, with nice herbals and citrus inclusions from the hops, and pale and syrupy thickness of the malt base. Really, with warmth, we get an insane syrupy, grassy, leafy, piney hop quality. This helps to afford general freshness and summer ease, giving big enough hop flavoring to fill any hopheads’s craving, and enough pop to leave any mouth feeling fabulous and appreciated for the remainder of the night.

Poured from the taps into 20 oz pint glass.
A - A little too coppery to be considered "light", moderate carbonation, completely see through.
S - Plenty of hops to add floral character.
T - This was one that was really unique, it was an obvious IPA, the hops were there from the first sip. Yet it was made with wheat which made this the lightest IPA I have ever tasted and devoid of the heaviness and palate-killing qualities usually associated with the style. It was refreshing and still had the hop bite! For this reason it is perhaps the best IPA ever brewed.
M - Interesting, had the lightness of a wheat-based beer but was slightly thicker.
D - I would have one more.
