Picked up a bottle while visiting Cleveland, it's from the packaged on 12/28/16 batch. Look- darker amber, small head. Smells sweet. Tastes rich, sweet, strong of malt, not super hoppy. Feels very thick in the mouth for me. Not what I'm really looking for in a DIPA. If offered, I would choose to not house a sixer of this. In fact, I would probably ask if I could house a sixer of something else instead! Cheers!!

12oz bottle (as below with a 12/28/16 date by mine says "PKG ON" not best by)
A: Slightly hazy orange with a 1.5 finger head
S: Smells fairly sweet with some tropical fruit, a bit of earth, and hints of citrus/pine
T: Loads of tropical fruit, particularly papaya and mango. That being said, quite sweet. A hint of earth rounds it out
M: Full-bodied, almost too sweet
O: I'd be curious to try this fresher though I'm not sure that would help the sweetness

Found this tucked away and forgotten on the shelf of a hole in the wall liquor store....6 months old..like the hazy coloring and the malty after taste...not sure the ABV is accurately stated on the site here (not listed on the bottle)...if it's accurate this could be a tasty, and dangerous, treat.

Another find at the Vintage Estate in Ohio. Paid 3 bucks for the single. Very dark orange brown color, hazy with a 1/2 inch of opaque colored head. Sure enough the smell got me looking for a Best by date marked 12/28/2016 meaning this beer is close to being a year old possibly a bit less. Just malty sugary hops really faded. So Sad. Taste is again very malty and boozy with dead leaf hops and some west coast kind of floor cleaner bitterness lingering the tongue. Whole body is still good not syrupy but heavy.
Overall I may change my review if I drink this again fresher. So sad Vintage Estate is selling a DIPA that is well over 6 months old. For shame.
