look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 4

Appearance: Somewhat hazy (but not too cloudy) golden amber color--decent sized head slightly larger than 1 inch, lots of lacing after a few sips

Smell: malty (not hops scented), nutty, not floral or fragrant by any means

Taste: mainly malty flavors with a slight undertone of lemon/orange cites

Mouthfeel: a fair amount of carbonation, gives this beer some zing and adds a great complex quality to it--but not too heavy

Overall: Love this! What a refreshing drink, never had it in the bottle but on top this is a winner and my choice when I go out and it's available.

Serving: On tap, 1L stein
Served: 24 July 2013

Appearance: A solid golden color with some hints of red. A good one finger head that quickly dissipates because of the size of the glass. Some bubbles sticking around on the edges. Crystal clear. Looks tasty.

Smell: Sweet malts complimented by some citrusy hops. The hop presence isn't astounding in the nose, but its definitely there.

Taste: Certainly not a hop bomb, but a nice take on the style. Reminds me a bit of SNPA with the overall flavor profile, though I do think that this one probably has a slightly sweeter malt profile than the SNPA. The hops are mostly citrusy, with some bitter grapefruit-like notes coming through. The beer tastes clean and balanced.

Mouthfeel: Nice carbonation gives the beer some depth and body. Not as carbonated as a pils, but certainly nothing in comparison to a stout either. The carbonation was actually maintained through most of the 1L serving size, with only the very absolute bottom (the last cm from the bottom or so) tasting a bit watery.

Overall: Honestly, I think this one is a bit underrated here. I think it's a solid offering from Arbor Brewing's Ypsilanti Location (Corner Brewery) and is a nice, flavorful session beer. Compared to their other low ABV options, I think this is a solid choice.

Appearance is a cloudy orangey amber with a solid thick off-white head. Smell is citrus but overall pretty weak, even with my nose right up in its business. Mouthfeel is solid--medium bodied with the bitterness coming through. Taste is a very subtle pale, with the hops pleasant but not too strong. Overall a nice pale ale.

Pours golden with fluffy head. Nice lacing going on. Smell is very pleasant with sweet citrus hops and very light. The taste was disappointing. All the flavors are there, but this was a bit watered down light citrus and not much else. Could use a little more hop bite and malt sweetness. Ok offering from ABC, and I think they could improve on this in the future with a bit more flavor. I really liked the flavor profile, it was just so faint. Excellent label--make the beer stand up to it.

A: nice golden color. Good clarity.
S: citrusy hop aroma
T: balanced malt to hop. Pushing the boundaries of a pale. West coast style.
M: nicely carbed. Light lingering bitterness.
O: overall a great session beer. However I've caught a few that taste off like they had oxygen introduced.

Poured a bright amber gold, some carbonation, a good film of whitish tan film and lacing. Pretty good head retention.

S - lots of lemony citrus, floral sweet and cherry notes. Some grainy and grassy notes that come forward. The hops have pretty much full reign here, mostly juicy tart citrus, its not got enough malt balance imo.

T - has a sharp start, a bit of an astringent bitterness, lemony, cereal grains, a bit of a thin malt body, biscuity sweetness, good carbonation and a crispness on the finish. Not enough weight for an APA it seems, lemony and biscuity, but not much else going on. Finish is crisp and cereals.

M - light bodied, refreshing with a slight bitter tartness and a crisp finish. A lot of of carbonation that coats the palate completely. Pretty drinkable and fairly refreshing.

A somewhat average pale, too much carbonation, and not enough malt base to give some real complexity. A light body and grassy citrus hop character. Refreshing and decent feel to it eventually, but there are more interesting options out there.
