Thanks to doughanson78 for hooking this bottle up in the 666 BIF.

A - Poured a dark copper color with an off white head that leaves lacing behind

S - Is mostly of caramel malt with very light hopping for an IPA

T - Like the nose lots of caramel malt up front with some light citrus hops in the finish

M - This beer has a medium body with medium carbonation to it

O - As far as IPAs go this is pretty light for the style as I've had APAs with more hop character than this but over all its not a bad beer it does taste good and is easy to drink

color looked good, smell was right but the taste fell flat for me. Very Flat finish. Certain you have to be a local to appreciate this taste. Food will not help this beer get past the flat side. The hop is there then it goes Flat? Why? The Bitter is there but the Flat follows Why? I do not know.

It seemed a bit all over the place when I first tasted it but after a few sips it all came together and then a top shelf PNW IPA arrived. The nose grew in its hoppiness and the beer rounded out to showcase both the hops and the malt bill. I could drink a few of these and it shows that Lazy Boy is making some great beers

Poured into a Dogfish Head pint glass. Pours a ruddy copper amber with a thin off white head with decent retention and light slippery lacing. Aroma is bready, slightly biscuit malt with light grassy hops. Flavor follows with biscuit malt and moderate grassy, neutral hops. Long lingering hop bitterness in the the aftertaste. Light to medium bodied. This is definitely an English style IPA, with more emphasis on malt and bittering hops than aromatic hops. Flavor progression a bit unbalanced, could have used the finish bitterness in the main flavor. A satisfactory traditionally styled IPA.

Poured from a 650ml bottle. Not exactly "pale," this India Pale Ale pours a more brownish orange colour with a thin, tan head, an indication that this isn't a typical NW IPA. The aromas are mostly malty and grainy with some hop spice mingled in. Flavour-wise it's similar, with the hops playing something of a second fiddle to the rich malt character. Has a nice dry, bitter finish. More like an English-style IPA than US/NW.

Almost no head when pouring, even with a little intentional sloshing. Great lacing though! Nice dark copper colour. Very mild aroma, just a soft note of piney hops and a little bread. The heaviness and carbonation is perfect for an IPA, but the finish and the hop level leave a little to be desired. The biggest bite is actually the pale malt, followed by a very mellow pine/resin hop flavour, which lingers on the back of the tongue for a few seconds. I get little hints of citrus, and then little hints of soap, every few sips. The off-dry finish I found surprising, but maybe the most notable thing about this beer. Not one I would buy again, but certainly not one I regret buying.

Thanks to pwnzilla, once & future trader, for this bomber. Used to try to wash out the taste of that god-awful sheet we just had out of, getting dizzy, awweegdg. 22 oz. bomber. Split.

Pour is appropriately IPA, on the orange, even leaning red, end of the spectrum. Nose is sweet, floral, almost like a rose bud...odd. Not like any IPA I've ever sniffed. Good? Bad? Let's see.

Lazy Boy is an IPA. That much I should have known. Middling bitterness comes to the fore, with that underlying flowerness. Then sweet malt rushes in. Hops gone.

That's it. Bitterness, malt. Look up average IPA in the dictionary, & there should be a picture of this beer.

A - Bright like a new penny and fairly clear. Fairly dense was that shows some signs that it aspires to be rocky...yet it doesn't get there.

S - Hints of orange and a whiff of rose with some leafy mint lingering in the background.

T - Earthy and herbaceous hops melded in that layered PNW way...this one does it very well. For some reason it comes off as more of a pale ale at first, but the bitterness does creep in as the glass empties and makes itself known that this is an IPA. Flavors are of wet grass, citrus, and light fruitiness over biscuit malt.

M - Medium body and medium-low carbonation. While the hops are smooth up front, there is a rough edge which provides a bite without being sharp. I find a dry bitterness grabbing hold in the back of my mouth.

O - This is a trip to the Northwest for your mouth. It is truly a PNW style which steers clear of the chatacteristics of California brand of west coast IPAs. And as much as I'm a fan of the Cali brand, bravo to Lazy Boy for keeping it local and real.

A - Pours rich copper brown/red with 3 solid fingers of creamy head, leaving ample lacing down the glass as it subsides.

S - Grapefruit and pine dominate the nose.

T - The toffee sweetness is quickly overtaken by the dominating citrus, with a piney afternote.

M - Very agressive carbonation. The almost rootbeer float like head adds a subtle creaminess to it and adds balance

O - Very good beer. Flavors develop well and lead to a solid beverage.
