From one of my favorite breweries in Columbus Ohio. This one pours a copper/reddish tinged
color with HUGE off white head and fantastic sudsy lacing. Nose of sweet caramel malts, a hint
of light hops, and nice bready malts. Caramel malts abound to the front and back of this one
with a light bittering hops to round it out. Ample carbonation fights against the malty sweet
characteristic of this brew and sears in the hops profile. Not really a red, and very lightly an
ESB. That said I have always enjoyed a pint of this on tap at their most impressive restaurant.
Bottled it is decent though and a great session beer. Now if only to get them to bottle the
Procrastinator dopple bock.

Cheers

Copper amber body with a cream colored off white head, forms nice speckled lacing. Aromatics carry a grainy, husk filled nutty character pretty generic Red Ale qualities, cereal grains minimal to absent hop notes comes off as an herbal earthy character if I had to pick a hop profile. Flavor has cereal grain sweetness, a hint of honey malts, even a Wheaties character...earthy herbal hops in the finish still a bit too sweet for my tastes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied texture wise with carbonation ample a bit of residual sugars cling to the palate after each sip. Overall, many more beers I'd rather consume especially considering I'm not the typical Bleeding Buckeye.
