Smack dab downtown. Beautiful art deco building, inside and out. Long marble bar, stained glass, ornate trim An architectural treasure About 10 taps, a few guests. Ghost town on a Tues afternoon. Poutine hit the spot. Good music too. Nice find.

Will miss this place, bought out by Jackie O's but was a founding father in
the brewery scene. Great brews, great food, and a great atmosphere.

I love this place. Not what you’d expect, however much more if you like a cool hole in the wall place. Staff was awesome and he had a great fro! Beer selection was great.

Kind of a hole in the wall bar, but it was a very open-to-all place. Had a real awesome chat with the staff there and they were absolutely awesome with good conversation. Forgot what beer I had there but it was tremendous. If youre ever downtown Columbus stop by here for a quick drink!

Had a nice dinner there. More upscale than other brew houses. Located in an old part of town in a long narrow space with bar upfront and dining area in the rear. Of course the beer on tp was excellent.

The decor and the bar are unparalleled in their beauty. Rich woods, marble, mosaic floors, stained glass, original artworks, just gorgeous. Good beers with 2 GABF medals and I love their food.

Here is a fine brewpub where the exceptional venue and food out shine the beer. The beers are good, but the interior and, to a lesser extent, the exterior of this pub are exceptional. Fine woodwork abounds, most notably in the bar, and there's a large stained glass window in the back. I've eaten here 3-4 times and have always been happy with my meal. They a range of beers: 11 on tap today but often 12.

Trendy downtown location. NIce venue. Doesnt look much of anything to be a brewery, but seems to work out well anyway. Very historic and extravagant looking buliding and decor. Seemed to atttact more of a business, suit-and-tie type crowd.

Staff (atleast the bartender who served us) was extremely knowledgeable and on top of his game.

Selection was small-ish, but thats probably to be expected from something this size.

The ladies got desserts, which were excellent.

Columbus seems to be a pretty boring town. This place was nice, not spectacular, but about as good as you we find. Worth a visit.

I made my second trip to Elevator before a Blue Jackets game. It is very visually pleasing once inside. It has high ceilings with some art on the wall as well as some stained glass. There is a long bar to the right as you pass the host(ess) stand. I bellied up and waited on my buddy to arrive.

They had about ten beers on the tap menu. I learned that there were three seasonals that were not on the menu after ordering a Dirty Dicks Nut Brown Ale. I perused the food menu. There were quality sounding dishes that seemed a little higher end to this ham and egger. It happened to be happy hour while I was there, so pints were $3 aside from the seasonals, and they had $5 appetizers except for the tuna tartar. My buddy got the nachos which seemed to be his first meal in a month given the vigor with which he downed them. I got the blackened chicken pizza which was decent.

I ended up having four beers, the nut brown, a chipotle chocolate porter, a doppelbock, and Big Vic, their IIPA. I wasn't in the mood for a big meal, so the $5 appetizers were perfect. I would like to go back and try the regular dinner menu. As far as beer goes, Wolf's Ridge and Barleys are within walking distance. I tend to like their beer more. Elevator looks like a great place to get a more upscale meal though.

Food was pretty good, beer was mediocre. In addition, it is 3 blocks from Nationwide Arena but doesn't pay for sports channels??
