For the better part of my pint glass, I was underwhelmed by the hop intensity--or lack thereof--especially for something billed a double IPA. However, as the beer warmed, pleasant hop flavor did creep through, redeeming the beer overall.

See through golden in color with a good white head of almost a inch and some carbonation visible.
Smell of hops, citrusy and oily. Lots of orange in the nose.
Good flavors of lemons and oranges in the mouth, the oily and resinous side is still present. Some cereals in the taste but the malts are really subtle.
Not bad, a decent IPA with a pretty good bitterness.

Appearance - This beer pours a clear amber orange color with 2 and a half fingers of foamy white head that fades leaving lacing and a slight flim over the top.
Aroma - Grape fruit, orange peel, bready malts, and caramel malts, pretty basic west coast IPA smells.
Taste - Grapefruit, orange sweetness and peel, a hint of peach, moderate bitterness nothing overwhelming pretty good for a 70 ibu IPA, then I get bready and Caramel malts.
Feel - just a bit heavier than a light medium body with slightly prickly carbonation, Nothing special.
Overall - This is just your classic west coast style IPA, there really Isn't much special going on here but it is very good none the less, Try it if you get a chance.
