Poured a dark ruby almost brown color. Not alot of head forms and then quickly disappears. Little lace traces but nothing campared to original AB.
Has a very sweet carmal and floral notes. The sweetness of this beer was surprising to me.
Has a very complex taste with pine, carmal, and maybe a little plums coming through. IBUs are a little misleading.
Thick consentency, spit like you've been drinking coffee. I prefer the original AB but this is a good double, but would like to age one and see if the sweetness eases up. I recomend one of these followed by a ruination.
