Not sure if I am drinking a different beer, or this beer gets better with each run.

It seems a bit fruitier this time around and certainly has a bit more bite than before. The overwhelmingly warm, floral taste is like heaven if it existed. The addicting nature of this beer's odor and taste makes drinkability as easy as your mom on a busy friday night.

All truth aside, this beer is great. I would never recommend not trying it and never advise not buying it. Worth every penny if they charged more and forever a favorite for my taste buds.

Screw the haters.

Twas a great night. Started with the Stone so from what I remember. Was exceptional. Had a fridge just stocked for a good night of decent beers. Between the Dogfish Head and the local IPA from shipyard (Black and Monkey Fist), This was a spectacular night of great beer. 02.14.14 from Stone was highlight and also the 2nd to last trip to local packy. She sent me for smokes one more time, damn. But came home with a nice lil 5 spot for the night. The Stone was the star but you cant beat 90 min. from Dogfish Head. It's epic and we all know it. The fact i had a Sixer of the the local Shipyard IPA was a bonus and that Black IPA is real damn good. Stone continues to deliver and to be fair I live out in nowhere ME so the fact I'm getting this beer is just plane awesome. Wow I got min of 84 to go and all I can think about is that damn meatloaf i just microwaved. I shall go now and chow. drink well my friends Ü

01/26/14 From bottle labeled 01/09/14. Can't get much fresher than that outside the brewpub. That being said I wasn't knocked out.

In fairness I never was much of a hops fan and this follows the Stone model of catering to that taste. Pine was the flavor of note but the lack of depth was striking. I applaud the effort, but no cigar.

Just to admit this at front this is my personal favorite beer series and have tried every release since 2012. If you have not tried this beer; it is a must. If you have tried these I will attempt to describe what I recall different from the past releases:

The hop balance in this beer tastes a little different to me from the last round. It could be due to timing, transportation etc. but found there to be more of a pine-hop flavor profile than the last batch. Stone is the king of hops in my mind and this blend is still super but not as floral and citrus as others in the series. Still an amazing addition to the beer world.
