A- looks almost like an adjunct lager!! Almost offputting even knowing its a session beer. thinest head Ive ever seen on a Stone beer.
S- WOW this smells like a fresh bag of hops! Im a homebrewer and I stick my nose in a freshly opened vacuum sealed bag of hops alot. This beer smells louder than most of those bags! Its amazing! One of the best aromas Ive ever smelled. Absolutely fantastic.
T- Another WOW! This is probably one of Stones tastiest products. Even my dad says its incredible that bigger hop forward beers arent half as good. I dont really taste any malt, just hops on hops on hops.Dank resinous floral earthy spicy maybe a little pine in there. Citrus on the end and bitterness lingers for quite sometime. All this after I just drank a Victory DirtWolf!
M- Ehh what can I say, it fits for 4.5% but its the only thing I dont like about this beer.
Overall? This beer kicks Founders All Day and Sierra Nevads Nooner out of the water! Stone is KILLING it right now! Always loved Stone, this just makes me love them more. Im glad I could purchase a single bottle though, because $12-13 for a 4.5% 6er is way too much, sorry. Wish it was in bombers.

Having never tried a session IPA, I don't really know what to expect, though I like the idea behind the style.
It pours a lighter color than I expect from an IPA, and has plenty of foamy head. Smells strongly of hops, and kind of dank and funky actually.
Really light on the mouthfeel and finishes extremely clean. Plenty of hop flavor in the middle, but otherwise a little thin and nondescript. That said, this isn't a scathing criticism. I'm most used to full-fledged higher alcohol offerings, and I'm not even sure if it is valid comparing the two. This would certainly be the thing for a hot day when one would choose not to get too bogged down in alcohol and heavy, assertive flavor.
Pretty damn good overall, but not my favorite. Will try more in the style and rethink.
