A- Very pale, very clear golden body with a big, soapy slightly off-white head.

S- Lots of floral and citrusy hop notes. Surprisingly strong hop aroma for a session IPA. Very fresh and lemony.

T- Similar to the aroma, big floral hoppy flavors, big lemony citrus. Nothing in the way of a malty body, but I guess that's the point of a 4.5% abv IPA.

M- Thin and light bodied, but has just enough to not be watery. Very quenching and drinkable tho. Slight carbonation tingle left on the tongue.

O- A good example of a session IPA. Really big hop flavors, very light and refreshing, not much body. This would be an amazing beer to have in cans.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Cloudy golden color with a thick white head that dissipated after 3-4 drinks. Smell coming out of the glass was the strongest I've ever smelled. It was like a bouquet of scents bursting out of the glass. The taste was similar as the smell. Just a lot of things happening as once! Hops hops hops. Mouthfeel and finish were lighter and not as bitter as anticipated. A great and flavorful IPA.

- Spiegelau ipa glass.

A: Cloudy, bright orange when backlighted with a dense, clarity and moderately retaining dirty white head. Some quick release carbonation races to the surface with a minimal amount of lace stickage. In the end a very nice coloring, bright, and dense nature.

S: Aroma was grassy dominated hops, pine, strong, but very smooth on the delivery. Some flowery orange hops is followed by a lightly dry citrus finish. pretty good strength.

T: Dry orange-citrusy wheat. Aggressively dry hopped. Snappy sharp delivery of grassy pine hopping, very flavor forward. Lingering grassy orange after taste. Pretty good hop kick, blend, and transistion of flavor.

M: The mouthful was sharp and snappy from the edgy carbonation, making this crisp upfront. Some creamy, wheaty texture on the longer holds, very good malt depth considering such a low abv of 4.5% which hardly seems possible at times.

O: Overall would hardly believe this much hoppiness can be crammed into a low abv% offering and still maintain a sense of balance. Its a big drinking ipa squeezed into a session like serving much like a 6'11" basketball player being squeezed into a smart car. Honestly its one and only drawback may be that the hopping is so aggressive and strong, as well its body fullness, it will be hard to pound this as a session like ipa. But it will still remain as a go to.

A-Heavenly golden yellow with a nice white head and solid lacing as you drink
S-Hits you over the top IPA hoppy hop happiness aroma, subtle pine, loads of citrus
M-Perfectly carbonated
T-Hop forward, complex bitterness all the way through. Its like biting into a grapefruit, straight up.
O- super solid IPA, highly recommend for IPA lovers, pucker up the flavor glands!

Served in a tumbler.

Another "session IPA"? Jesus, is 1% ABV really that necessary to trim from our beers, guys? Anyway, off of my soapbox, this stuff pours a lightly hazy golden brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises light caramel-drizzled biscuit, lime zest, pine resin, grass, and light menthol. The taste brings in more of the same, the lime, grapefruit, resin, and menthol combining for that characteristic Stone assault on the tastebuds. Fuck you, balance, I guess, but, hey, Stone's done good work with that mentality in the past, so what the hell do I know? Here, though, there's not enough to balance out any of the hops' attack, so it just comes across as too much for no real reason. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a decent enough IPA, but the hops here just go too far for the beer's own good, a position I've found myself in somewhat often lately when it's come to Stone...
