On tap at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a clear dark gold with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of herbal hop, earth, onion, and garlic aromas. Taste is much the same with floral, earth, herbal hop, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with interesting aromas and flavors from this hop varietal.
Serving type: on tap.
