22 oz bomber with a 9th Annv. label denoting the year it was brewed in.
A- Deep mildly hazed golden orange glow, amazing head ... good retention.
S- Dusty white pepper, light citric, white pepper aroma. Big citric show. Orangina?
T&M- Medium body, creamy smooth. Suggestions of steamed grape leaves, boiled citric zest, white tea and a lingering aspirin bitterness. Heady alcohol throws gobs of fusel alcohol at the taste buds. Maltiness rolls out a light maltiness middle to end.
D- Just for shits and giggles I tried this brew again ... sorry, game over. This one just does nothing for me. I love Stone Brewing but they went too far with the god damn hops ... and you know what hops I am talking about. Better with age, and not so bad on tap. Beer geeks cheer because there is more left over for them.
