Served in snifter.
Appearance: very dark brown almost opaque with a rough tan head that rises to maybe aboiut 1/3".
Smell: This a is a little complex, caramel meets molasses, yes seriously!
Taste: Bitter plus your pieces of sweet, you might not know it but this is the truest black IPA, I am not saying this in any regard it's just the way it is. It is bitter but slightly sweet I do mean slightly...malty and a feel of floral essence throught the body.
Mouth: Sticking after taste, you can breathe in the taste literally.
Overall: Though the label might not say it this is a true Black IPa and for that I will incredibly commend it. It is complex, tasty, full of flavor and just forever lasting. Salud!
