Pours a dark black with a reddish hue in the light. Has a thin mocha head. The smell of this beer is a complex mix. I can't really put my finger on it, but it has an intense grassy smell mixed with a pineapple citrus, maybe some lime. Overall, a great smell.
Tastes of a light burnt chocolate taste - not overpowering. A strong floral and grassy taste follows. Finishes mellow, smooth, balanced with the right amount of hops and a slight bitterness.
This beer has the taste and bitterness of a stout mixed with the aroma and taste of a grassy IPA.
Well balance, this is what experimental brewing is all about.
