Poured from a 650 ml bottle into an imperial nonic.
A: Very dark brown to black. Pours about 1 and half finger, foamy, brown-white head. Plenty of bubbly carbonation clings to the sides of the glass. Settles very slowly. Some sticky remains as it does. Plenty of spider web lacing remains as you drink it down.
S: Roasted malt, a little coffee, pine nuts, and maybe a little butterscotch.
T: Deep roasted coffee malt, sharp hops, and little peaty. Kind of woody overall tone. Nice and bitter, but robust with the slightest hint of sweetness.
M: Thick, heavy, robust; but crisp, clean, and pristine. Malty and woody in the front, dry and bitter in the finish.
D: Sip and enjoy this quality brew.
Atmosphere is great. Tall, dark, and handsome. Deep, rich hue with a full, foamy head, and plenty of sticky lacing. Nose is full and a great balance of malt and hops with some woody and sweet tones in there too. Flavor is a fantastic malty, woody, hoppy balance. Very well done. Overall, this is a great quaff.

A: Pours dark black with medium carbonation that creates a nice tan head as well as some decent lacing. Looks like what you would expect from a stout.
S: The smell is fantastic! Lots of earthy and fruity hops (grapefruit and citrus) as well as a hint of that dark (almost molasses) malt aroma.
T: This is where the beer shines... Very bitter but not so much as to deter you from drinking it. Earthy, floral, and fruity hops show through the roasted malt and peach flavor of the beer. Stone did an amazing job creating a unique style that blends together all the flavors so nicely. Very flavorful!
M: Mouthfeel is perfect. Medium to full body, creamy but very drinkable. The finish isn't dry and those flavors stick to your tastebuds for a while after you sip. Carbonation is spot on with the flavor.
O: Overall this is probably my favorite beer of the ones I've tried so far. Definitely one that you can try more than once and enjoy just as much, if not more, as the last time. Stone has made a beer that somehow has a strong and intense flavor that makes you wish you had another bottle when you're done!
