Poured from the bomber into ye old standard american pint glass.
Big bright piney hop aroma that rides over the odd black beer with it's light brown head.
Flavor is front loaded with a resinous bitterness that runs frontwards and backwards rough shod over any other flavor except some small amounts of sweetness that hangs around the edges.
Not bad, but wow this is a bit tough right now.

This has to be the best black IPA on the planet. Great dark appearance! The smell of roasted malts is phenomenal. Characteristically over hopped like many Stone beers but the Taste is a perfect blend of malt and hops. This could be my favorite Stone beer, and they have a lot of great ones!
