I had been wanting to try this beer for a while, and finally decided to pony up for it at a bar.
Poured into a pint glass, nice light amber color, decent head with minimal to no real lacing.
The first thing I really took in was the smell. There were beautiful aromas of sweet flowers and deep complex hops.
This was a very tasty beer, but the flavor was not as complex as the smell I felt. Very strong and up-front hop bitterness with a light fruit sweetness on the finish.
I'd score the beer higher for drinkability but I don't think I could drink more than one bottle in a sitting, and as the beer warmed up the bitterness slowly grew overpowering.
