appearance: honey-sand colored body with an egg shell colored head persists wonderfully. leaves heavy lacing on the glass too. i love seeing all the carbonation bubbles flying to the surface.
aroma: not too complex. this one's all about business. i smell grapefruit and pineapple. very appealing nose. there's some tangerine in there too. malt isn't coming through much though.
taste: very nice, clean, and punchy. lingers wonderfully too. feels like sucking on the straight hop nectar. this one is a lot more refined than arrogant bastard. very enjoyable. this is a very stately beer.
mouthfeel: interesting. more carbonation than i thought would be there. i like it even though i think it's a bit much. other than that, it is pretty spot on. not thin but not cloying. very nice.
drinkability: very powerful, but not heavy. very enjoyable beer that i would have again.
Serving type: bottle
