Got this bottle from Worm...thanks for this and others.
Enjoyed just over years after it was brewed (Nov 2010) in the Stone XII anniversary glass.
A- real black with a great milk chocolate colored thick head that climbs the side of the glass.
S- Lots of molasses and cocoa. Bitterness with a little "green" aroma.
T- Tons of Bitter, Bitter chocolate that is great for melted hot chocolate but a little overpowering for a beer. Tastes like cold "hot chocolate".
M- Awesomely thick and perfect for an anniversary style oatmeal stout. Rivals some of the best stouts in the world.
D- I would love to have about one of these every two years to see how it ages, but more than that is a bit much unless you are looking to drink a candy bar.
Cool for an anniversary treat but deffinately not a daily drinker.
