Another very grateful gift from DaveCooks. In the fridge for about 6 months. Opened March 09.
A - Pours fluffy 2 finger head, lingering and lacing to start but doesnt hold the way down. Sexy clear golden color. One of the best looking beers of that color i've seen.
S - woah yummy. Flowers. But not typical hoppy, more like sweet garden flower type. Some citrus notes as well.
T - I dont know what to think. Ha. I have had the Green Flash belgian ipa and this one has it's own character...obviously. The finish is very ipa...can feel the drying and hop notes. Starts off sweet and a bit chewy. Quiet nice. I am really enjoying this. Mouthfeel is full and lingering. Again. lovely.
D - Dangerously drinkable. Light enough that it doesnt fill you up and the alcohol is very well disguised.
Had a hard time scoring this one b/c it is so easily enjoyed. Tried to back off the ratings a bit b/c the Le Freak I remember being more impressive on the palate but this is a very strong contender.

I was looking for something a bold and different and went with this unique brew.
color:7-9 SRM, a beautiful rich golden color.
Appearance: poured thick like tripple, nice thick head, and slightly effervescent.
Mouthfeel: thick, heavy
Smell: yeasty, hints of orange, lemon.
Taste: yeasty and bread like with lemon and slight citrus notes.
Experience: was stoked at the thought of a Belgian/American IPA hybrid beer. Poured a great golden color and nice long lasting 1 finger head. From the first taste I think Belgian all the way. It's heavy mouthfeel and bready/yeasty flavors soak the palate, only to be cut by a slight lemon citrus finish from those west coast hops.
I expected more of a hop presence, but I'm disappointed in a good way. This beer is descriptively complex and is a must try for hop heads and Belgian lovers alike.
