Golden slightly cloudy with quick dissipating head.
typical west coast ipa smell of citrus and hops but also has just a hint of the belgian yeast maybe even a hint of cloves.
Taste is definitely just like the label says. It tastes just like a regular stone Ipa but with a distinctive belgian flavor.
First comes the fruity california ipa flavors, then a lingering spicy belgian flare.
Over all its not a bad beer I would be interested in tasting this when it is extremely fresh. I also think it tastes better at a slightly warmer temperature like a belgian instead of a ipa temperature.

22 oz bomber poured into chalice.
A - Pours a hazy dark gold with 2 fingers of off white head. Head dissipates somewhat rapidly, and maintains a thin ring around the perimeter for the entire duration of drinking.
S - A lot of grassy hops in the aroma followed by bitter grapefruit.
T - I get a lot more of the Belgian complexity in the taste than I did in the aroma. Grapefruit and grassy hops, characteristic Belgian yeast, a hint of honey, and a bit of herbal spiciness. This is quite dry and bitter.
M - Medium body with high carbonation. The carbonation is quite prickly and there is a definite dry finish to this.
O - An interesting Belgian IPA. Great for the price and great if you want something different from most IPAs, especially with how dry this is.

A friend brought this back from Florida and had it home for quite a time. Enjoy by 5/16/14 so about a month past.
A - Nice hazy golden pour. Two finger pillowy white head. Good carbonation. Wicked lace rings and a finger of retention. Good looking stuff.
S - Bubblegum, fruit, lot's of hops, grass. Belgian yeast is obviously there with pale malt base and a hop note that clearly has faded but is still there.
T - Strong Belgian yeast, grass, honey, pale malt, some spice.. Quite delicious actually.
M - Strong carbonation, medium body, yeasty finish with bubblegum and spice.
O/D - Quite complex and drinkable. I imagine this would be much better fresh, but it's still quite tasty and has a nice mix of the Belgian influence and IPA character. This is one I've been waiting to try for a while and it was the wait. Well done.
