pour was an amber and ruby with a thick creamy head.

mostly bourbon on the nose. very light hops however they were dominated by a heavy bourbon presence. lots of vanilla.

again, heavy on the bourbon. this was very dominating with a nice thick vanilla flavor that blended well with the sweet malt and citrus hops.

very full, a bit resin like. nice moderate carbonation. slight dryness.

this was good, although i can see this becoming cumbersome after a bit with the strong bourbon. (485 characters)

Had while at Brewvival! Served from tap into a sampler Brewvival imperial pint. Poured dark brown with a half finger tan head that subsided to a minimal amount slowly. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, bitter hop, caramel, wood, and sweet alcohol. The flavor was of sweet malt, bitter hop, caramel, and wood. It had a medium feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a pretty good brew. A very nice spin on the regular Arrogant Bastard for sure. It also seemed to mellow out the original as well making this quite enjoyable. Really glad I got the chance to try this one as it wasn't at the Stone Tap Takeover event in Charlotte and I wished it would have been. (731 characters)
