Oh, oh, yeah. This may rival the legendary Arrogant Bastard. Pours a dark, but clear, mahogany with a dense, two-finger off-white head. Thick lacing. Rich, hoppy aroma. Cedar, grapefruit, and orange dominate the caramel malt. Slightly heavier, but carbonated mouthfeel coats and lingers. Big, bold taste. Bitter hops up front and throughout. Lots of resin and grapefruit, some kiwi/strawberry, and citrus zest. Well-balanced with a carmael malt that keeps things in check without that annoying candy-coating. A pleasant oak-earth texture compliments the hops. Its amazing the amount of hops that have been crammed into this beer, but it is almost too easy to drink. Dare I say, this is one of my favorite Stone beers.
