poured from a 22oz into a pint glass.pours a dark red with a finger of whiteish brown head that disappears fairly quickly and leaves good lacing.
smell: piney and citrusy hops. also a bit of the yeast in the nose. no alchohol heat. the hop smells are very powerful but i just dont feel like theyre blending very well.
taste: tastes like an extra hoppy oaked arrogant bastard. not bad theres just not alot of complexity. a bit of heat in the taste but for the most part is masked very well.
mouthfeel: very good considering the style. not sticky. if anything a bit oily from the hops. doesnt overwhelm the palate by any means.
drinkability: definately another hit from the stone brewery. costs about as much as ruination and is by all means worth it. gets you feelin good too.
