Had this on draft in Tokyo Japan at Beer Saurus, a bar in Ikebukuro with 50% off happy hour on all draft beers.
A very golden yellow color, maybe more golden than yellow. It came with a substantial head and I liked that the head stuck to the side of the glass as I drank it.
It smelled rather sweet to me. Taste was a citrusy, grapefruit like flavor, and when I smelled it again this came out in the smell. A very refreshing beer that masks the alcohol content rather disturbingly well, at least on draft. Unfortunately, that this beer could hide that 8.9% ABV made it appear to be sessionable. Let's just say that alcohol sneaks up on you if you have more than one of these!
I probably won't drink this again, as I'll likely never see it again in Japan, but I was pleased to have the opportunity to enjoy this beer. Recommended, particularly on tap.

22oz bomber: This one was hiding in the back of the fridge. It pours a fairly clear, straw golden yellow color. There was about a finger of white head on it that leaves a bit of lacing. Nice nose on this one! Floral and spicy hops are predominant. I get a little yeastiness too. The taste is good. Not much bitterness left, in fact a touch of sweetness poking through. Malts, perhaps a touch of orange, earthy, spice, a touch of breadiness. Very Nice!

Pour is straw gold with some hints of orange. quite hazy and thick.
Nose is surprisingly potent. Lemon, orange, little booziness, little mustiness.
Taste starts off alright, some little bursts of melon and tangerine. Follows with rather odd, dry, woody boozy malt. Really tastes like plywood in some ways. Not totally in bad way.
Feel is pretty medium full. Not syrupy.
Neat. Would love to go back in time and try it fresh to compare. Oh well. Still a decent IIPA, but clearly has fallen by the wayside and had some interesting metamorphosis go on with time.
