Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
A - Slightly hazy, coppery-brown with a white head.
S - Familiar Stone west-coast hop aroma. Citrus notes dominated by grapefruit.
T - Intensely bitter upfront with citrus hop flavors, especially grapefruit rind. Mild lemon zest flavor and piney hop bitterness on the back end.
M - Well carbonated making the body feel lighter. More watery than I would prefer in the style. Dry finish.
O - A very good amber/red ale. My only knock on this beer is the light body. Would seek out again, if only to see if they characteristics change on tap as opposed to bottle.
