12 oz bottle.
A - Coppery red color, nearly clear. Dense sticky beige head.
S - Not overly impressive, but malty and citric hop aroma hit up front with hint of caramel.
T - As the smell suggested, this is no ordinary red ale. It has an assertive hoppiness smack in the middle of the chewy caramel malts; an interesting contrast of smooth and bitter all at once.
M - Thick and slightly oily with a dry finish. Medium carbonation.
D - Not as easy going as most ambers, but this is Stone, so you expect a kick in the flavor profile. Drinks like a hybrid IPA and red ale. Pretty sessionable.
