Mini Brew Review: Stone Levitation Ale
Appearance: Deep copper, lots of foam and carbonation. Good lacing.
Smell: Pine and citrus hops, caramel.
Taste: Toasty malts, caramel, pine, grassy hops. Hints of citrus.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, strong bitter hop aftertaste.
The Verdict: Pretty good. Less bitter than many Stone offerings but plenty of flavor. Pretty boozy for the low ABV. It’s not the first amber ale I’ll reach for, but there’s a good chance that I will reach for it.
