Appearance: Deep red color with thin off-white head and decent lacing.
Smell: Big hops, especially for an amber. A little bit of sour fruitiness as well as a solid malt backbone.
Taste: Toasted grains, green apple, and a nice hoppy finish. Call me crazy, but the taste reminds me of green tea. Pretty balanced flavor - definitely enjoyable.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Chewy with a very balanced aftertaste.
Drinkability: More bitter than the typical amber, but I like it. Flavor is pretty complex yet not overpowering. Looking forward to the rest of the six pack.
