A: Dark reddish brown and clear. A thick head leaves lacing.
S: Initially a strong whiff of citrus and piney hops, but that disappears quickly and does not return. There's a very faint bready scent too. I get a cooked vegetable smell when I swirl it and really stick my nose into the glass. (This is weird and probably just me. I don't imagine Stone beers tend to have DMS.)
T: The hops (maybe citrus) are strong again on the outset, but after that they turn subtler except for the building citrus bitterness on the finish. There's some caramel flavor from the malt, but this is certainly not a malty beer.
O: Although this beer isn't that remarkable, it's easy to follow the first glass with several others. I appreciate the low abv, and this is one of the better readily available beers out there at less than 5%.
