Poured into an Arrogant Bastard pint glass. Pours a very dark but clear amber with a nice two-finger tan head. Great retention with some spotty lacing.
Aroma is at first hoppy, but after prolonged sniffing, cookie-ish malt becomes more prominent.
The taste is just about identical to the smell. Citrus hops over cookie malt. Unfortunately this beer isn't very robust and lacks the malt base to support the hops.
Mouthfeel is smooth and clean but rather watery due to the aforementioned lack of a solid maltiness. Very easy to drink and a nice sessionable option from Stone.
