From the 12 fl. oz. screen printed bottle. Sampled on Feb. 14, 2014.
It is a very attractive looking beer with its deep amber pour and long lasting tan head. Great clarity. Great lacing.
The nose is alive with grass, pine, and citrus hops which is not what one would normally pick up in an amber ale. It has some punch! Vibrant. Biscuit malts are subdued.
Like the nose the taste has an exquisite pine, grass, and floral character that is a bit more forward than any biscuit malts but they still do not take everything over. Drinkable and fascinating.
