We're talking high-class ale here, I probably should've served it in a wine glass. It pours out a bubbling yellow orange and, maybe it was my imagination, but I thought I saw a hint of green in there too. The dense head builds to about 1.5 fingers, stabilizes, then dies down. Oh yes! the scent is refreshing. I could sit and smell it for 10 minutes. The flavor is expertly expressed, the subtle astringency of the green tea accents the dryness of this beer (9.2% abv), making the mouthfeel smooth, clean, and crisp. The herbal aroma and mild bitterness of the hops plays well with the tea's light grassy flavor. It has the character of a strong golden ale like Duvel, probably from the Belgian candi sugar. Don't expect your usual mouth-coating hop-bomb with this ale here. What you should expect is a delicate and thoughtful brew worthy of a bright day or clear night and plenty of heady reflection. Another epic Stone collaBEERation. They truly nailed it this time around. Get some!
