Pours a hazy light orange with some floaters a small white head.
Smells of citrus hops and green tea. The tea character really comes through in the aroma but, given that it's tea, the aroma is pretty subtle.
Taste is up front small hop that leads into a big green tea taste and finishes with an almost fruit-snack (Gushers anyone?) like character along side a hop kick. The taste is truly unique...the tea tastes killer and the finish is surprising and awesome. I'm impressed.
Medium to heavier bodied with a creamy character and nice amount of carbonation. The alcohol is present far in the finish, really well hidden.
I didn't think I would be into this beer much going in, but the taste is just fantastic and truly blended to make a unique BEER, not tea beer. Really great job on this one. I don't want to have to hope for more natural disasters, so make it a seasonal?
