Back of bottle stamped May 2011. 12oz bottle poured into Trois Pistoles snifter.
Appearance - Tan/cream head. Two fingered with a medium pour. Opaque orange body.
Smell - Very mild. Balanced. Grassy. Slightly floral.
Taste - Very grassy hop. Really good, but considering this is the same style as Pliny The Elder, and considering we're grading beers on a curve here by style, it's getting a lower score that I'd give it otherwise. Tons of alcohol in the finish and aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Creamy, especially due to the head. The alcohol acts as a solvent and strips it off right away though.
Overall Drinkability - Dion't really taste the Green Tea in here, so it doesn't really live up to the name. Still pretty damn enjoyable though.
