Great idea for a beer.. let's see if does well.
Pours a very hazy orange amber with much residue floating about. About 2 fingers width white head that has very solid lacing on the glass.
Lots of different hop action going on. Piney, fruity, and almost.. well.. dirty. A nice hint of sweet doughy backing too. Smells like a bit off IPA.
You can really taste the green tea. Wow. I was expecting more subtle hints with a dirty earthiness. But the tea taste of the leaves is a bit distinct right behind the bitterness of the hops. A bit medicinal too, but not over the top at all.
The mouthfeel is a bit dry to be honest. It's medium bodied with plenty of carbonation.. but it leaves your palette feeling dry and dehydrated.
Overall, it's a solid beer. I love the taste, and I really enjoy IPA collabs. For a great cause too! Prost!
