Pours a hazy golden color with 2 fingers of tight, white head that recedes slowly. No lacing on the glass.
Aroma is citrus hops, some herbal/floral aromas and backing maltiness. There are hints of lavender and a bit of earthiness.
Flavor is sweet malt up front with bright hops mingling. Hop bitterness balances midway through and some herbal flavors emerge. Towards the finish a nice, toasty green tea flavor is evident and it plays nice with the herbal/floral hops. The finish leaves a nice balance of hop bitterness, malt and hop/tea flavors. The alcohol is barely evident.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation, leaves a crisp feeling in the mouth.
Overall this is a nice American style IPA with a twist of complexity and some interesting flavors throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed drinking this.
