Cask pour at The Old Toad in Rochester, NY.
Pours a hazy orange color, with a tight one inch head, and thick lacy rings of foam down the glass.
Smells like pine, grass, green tea, and some citrus. Not much malt to be found in the aroma.
The taste is similar. The infusion of green tea here is very nice. The hop flavor- slightly earthy/herbal/piney, but with nice citrus infusions- is very nice as well. The alcohol is not very present. This gives off the feeling of a beery herbal tea, and I like it. Very clean taste.
Medium bodied, slightly creamy cask mouthfeel. Low, but still present carbonation.
Serving type: on-tap
