12oz bottle (2011) poured into a Duvel tulip.
Appearance - Dark ruby black body. Tan head with decent stick and retention.
Smell - Woody. Olives. Chocolate. OFF bug spray. Tastes more like a stout/ipa blend.
Taste - Can barely taste pumpkin under the alcohol and grassy hop.
Mouthfeel - Light, astringent, frothy, bright.
Overall Drinkability - More like a stale IPA than a pumpkin ale. Enjoyable but not the way it should be.
