A: pours dark brown, with a quartering light brown head. Leaves minimal lacing.
S: has a initial herbal aroma, which spreads out to a light lemon and birch beer without the syrupy sweetness. There is a toasted aroma, but whether that is the fenugreek or the rye malt I'm not sure.
T: toasted rye malt, has a toasted nutty flavor. The herbal lemon is noticeable along with a slight peppery spice. I'd say that pumpkins and yams are more in the aftertaste and lingers around awhile.
M: full feeling on the palate, and is also a little bit coating.
O: for some reason stone collaborations are hard to come by in VA, and I try all that I can. I do like this one.
