Clear with a definite amber color; not much paleness here. Medium, tan-colored head with nice retention and lacing. Hearty malt aromas with a yeasty, spicy, and herbal presence coming out especially as the beer warms. The yeast definitely dominates the aroma after a bit. Flavors are a big jumble of hops and yeast up front with an underlying caramel sweetness, lending a medium body and chewy mouthfeel. Definitely herbal and spicy but not much "heat" really. A smoky, peppery aftertaste lingers. I feel as though it might be a bit early for this one.

From notes:

Slight bronze, clear light tan head plenty lace. Belgian yeast meets mild cinnamon and back end pepper. Similar taste, more Belgian yeast and slight caramel notes. Creamy medium in Body. Better than it sounded. Glad I got to try on tap instead of buying bottles. I was satisfied with this one pour.
